Lot 71: A Seven-Piece Textured Glass Apple-Shaped Dessert Set

This lot comprises a set of textured clear glass tableware, featuring one large master serving bowl and six matching smaller individual dishes. Each piece is designed in a stylised apple-shaped form, with a protruding clear glass stem positioned at the top to serve as a small handle. The exterior of each vessel is heavily textured with a vertical, organic bark-like pattern that radiates from a smooth circular section at the base, while the interior surfaces remain smooth. The glass is clear and shows the pressed construction common to mid-20th century decorative glassware.
