Lot 70: A Hand-Blown Purple and Clear Glass Centrepiece Bowl

A hand-blown glass centrepiece bowl featuring a deep amethyst or purple interior cased within a clear glass exterior. The bowl is of irregular organic form with a wide, undulating rim and a tapered body. The exterior surface is heavily textured with a complex, rhythmic pattern of pinched and pulled vertical ribbing, creating a webbed or lattice effect. The interior well is smooth, fading to clear at the base. An etched signature is visible on the interior side wall, though the characters are not entirely legible as a specific name; the characters R, O, N, and I are discernible towards the end of the script. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
