Lot 230: A Collection of Pocket Watch and Wristwatch Movements, Dials, and Crystals

This lot comprises a collection of watch components, primarily pocket watch movements and dials. The assortment includes nine large porcelain and enamel dials, featuring Roman and Arabic numerals. One dial is inscribed JOHN A CLAI FORFAR, while another bears the inscription R. MCDOWELL & CO LTD 14 HIGH STREET BELFAST. Other dials are printed with names including LIMIT, NEVA, CYMA, STAYTE, DOMINANT, and MURA. A heavily toned dial is marked INGERSOLL STERLING. The collection further includes several mechanical pocket watch movements. One movement is inscribed TACY WATCH CO ADMIRAL 4 ADJUSTMENTS 17 JEWELS U.S.A. PAT. MAY. 24. 1904. Another is marked DOMINANT SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS FIVE 5 ADJUSTMENTS SWISS MADE.
