Lot 18: A Pair of Restaurant Du Vieux Chateau Decorative Chalkboard Signs

This lot comprises two matching rectangular decorative display signs, each featuring a light-coloured wooden or composite frame with a wash finish. Each sign is divided into two vertical sections. The left panel is a light-coloured insert printed with the text A CENT METRES above a stylised arrow and the name RESTAURANT DU VIEUX CHATEAU. The right panel consists of a black chalkboard surface with hand-painted white lettering stating FOOD… NEVER SACRIFICE QUALITY FOR SPEED. NEVER SACRIFICE SPEED FOR QUALITY. DELIVER BOTH EVERY SINGLE TIME!. The word BOTH is rendered in a larger, bold font for emphasis. The signs are fitted with a wooden handle-style protrusion on the right edge and a hanging loop at the top. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
