Lot 550: A Lamar Blazer 1510 Snowboard with Step-in Bindings
Sold for: £1
A snowboard designed in Canada, featuring a composite construction with a wood core. The board presents a dual-tone aesthetic with a bright orange topsheet and a charcoal grey base. The topsheet is printed with the brand name LAMAR in black above the model BLAZER and the number 1510. Below this is a square containing the number 1 and the text SERIES, followed by the legend FULL WOOD CORE and DESIGNED IN CANADA. A clear, circular-patterned rubber stomp pad is adhered to the centre of the topsheet for traction. The base is decorated with a large stylised graphic reading LAMAR in a heavy metal-inspired font with a flame-effect border. The board is fitted with a pair of grey step-in style bindings with black adjustable straps and includes a black leash. The metal edges are visible along the perimeter of the board.
Length: 151cm.
Condition report:
The board shows signs of significant use and environmental exposure. The charcoal grey base exhibits heavy surface wear, including numerous scratches, scuffs, and visible white oxidation and dryness across the surface. The orange topsheet retains a glossy finish but displays surface scratches and minor wear to the edges. The plastic bindings show general scuffing and signs of handling consistent with age. The metal edges show surface dulling but no structural delamination is visible. A full service, including waxing and edge tuning, would be required prior to use.
