Lot 539: A Novelty Heart-Shaped Table Lamp with Silvered Conical Base
Not sold
A contemporary novelty table lamp featuring an integrated heart-shaped shade. The shade is constructed from a translucent red composite material with a smooth, matt finish, which glows orange-red when illuminated. The shade is mounted upon a silver-coloured conical base with a brushed finish. The lamp is fitted with a white electrical cable and plug. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the shade or the base.
Condition report:
The lamp shows signs of light domestic use. There are several minor dark surface spots and small scuffs to the red shade, primarily visible on the lower left and upper right sections (photo 2). The silver-coloured base shows minor surface pitting, fine scratches, and small areas of finish wear around the lower edge. The electrical cord shows typical surface soiling. As a pre-owned electrical item, a formal Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) check is required before use in a domestic setting.
