A lot comprising 100 Idaho Goldback negotiable instruments, dated 2023. Each note is constructed from 24ct gold foil layered between protective polymer sheets. The obverse of each note features the central text IDAHO Goldback and the fractional denomination 1/4. The central vignette depicts a blindfolded female figure holding scales, accompanied by the text Negotiable Instrument and the year 2023. The lower section of the note bears the printed legend 1/4000th TROY OUNCE 24K GOLD. The left margin is printed with US PATENT 10781520 | PRIVATELY ISSUED and NOT US DOLLAR LEGAL TENDER. Each note bears a unique serial number, with 6592 visible on the top note. The collection is held within a black paper band featuring a gold-toned foil logo consisting of an intertwined G and B above the word GOLDBACK.
