Lot 448: Germania Mint 1000g Fine Copper Bullion Bar

A Germania Mint copper bullion bar, of vertical rectangular form with a textured stippled finish. The face of the bar is struck with a shield-shaped logo containing a stylised M and G, above the printed legends GERMANIA and MINT. Centrally, the purity and material are struck as 999 FINE COPPER, followed by the weight 1000g. At the base, the serial number A11145 is struck. The bar is presented in its original clear plastic wrap and accompanied by a black cardboard box. The box includes a protective insert featuring a wood-grain effect printed with the same shield logo and GERMANIA MINT text.

Condition report:
The copper bar is in excellent condition, remaining in its original plastic wrap which has prevented any visible oxidation or toning. The struck lettering and serial number are sharp and clear. The accompanying black cardboard box shows minor signs of shelf wear and light scuffing to the edges (photo 1). The illustrated insert remains clean and free from creases.
