A UK five pound crown coin issued in 1990. The reverse features a stylised monogram of the letters E entwined with a rose and a thistle, surmounted by a crown, with the dates 1900 and 1990. The reverse legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER. The obverse depicts the Raphael Maklouf portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1990. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule, presented within a commemorative royal blue card folder and coordinating cream slipcase. The packaging is printed with the text COMMEMORATING THE 90TH BIRTHDAY OF QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER. The slipcase features a reproduction of a portrait of the Queen Mother as a child. No hallmarks or metal fineness stamps are visible on the coin.
Condition report:
The coin appears in brilliant uncirculated condition with full original luster. No visible wear, contact marks, or toning are evident on the struck surfaces. The plastic capsule is intact. The card presentation folder and slipcase show no significant signs of wear or environmental damage.
