A UK 1995 coin collection presented in a navy blue and cream card folder. The set includes a range of circulating and commemorative denominations. The reverses feature a one pound coin with a Welsh dragon, a two pence with the Prince of Wales feathers, a ten pence with a crowned lion, a five pence with a crowned thistle, a two pence with the Prince of Wales feathers, a one penny with a portcullis, and a fifty pence commemorating the 50th anniversary of the United Nations. Centrally positioned is a two pound coin featuring a stylised peace dove. The obverses of the coins bear the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The navy blue outer sleeve features a Union Jack window and is inscribed in gold-coloured lettering 1 9 9 5 UNITED KINGDOM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN COLLECTION. The interior card includes printed historical text regarding the commemorations.
Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated condition with original mint luster, held within a protective plastic film. The commemorative fifty pence shows a small red mark or reflection on the lower right field of the reverse. The blue card sleeve and cream fold-out packaging appear well-preserved with sharp edges and no visible creasing or staining. The set is housed in its original 1995 presentation packaging.
