Lot 412: Australia 2023 Perth Mint 1oz .9999 Silver Kookaburra Coin
An Australian bullion coin struck in one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. The reverse depicts two kookaburras perched upon branches amidst waratah flowers, with the inscriptions 2023 1oz 9999 SILVER and KOOKABURRA. A mint mark P is struck to the right field. The obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the Royal Diamond Diadem and a pearl necklace. The legends read ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, and the denomination 1 DOLLAR. The initials JC are struck at the base of the Queen’s neck. The coin features a reeded edge.

Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition. The obverse displays fine handling marks and minor surface scratches in the mirrored fields surrounding the portrait (photo 2). The reverse is well-preserved with no significant visible defects. The reeded edge is intact.
