Lot 248: A Collection of Workshop Fasteners in Two Bench-Top Storage Units

This lot comprises two bench-top workshop storage units containing an assortment of fasteners and hardware. The first unit is a black plastic frame containing eighteen grey open-front bins and several transparent drawers. It houses a variety of large-gauge wood and deck screws, primarily zinc-plated and yellow passivated steel. Legible hand-written adhesive paper labels on this unit include 10 x 1, 1 1/2″ DECK, 10 x 2, 10 x 3, 10 x 1 1/2, 1″ DECK, and 10 x 2 1/2. The second unit is a larger black plastic cabinet with thirty transparent drawers of varying sizes. This unit contains smaller fasteners including solid brass, brass-plated steel, and bright zinc-plated steel wood screws, alongside small metal cabinet fittings and brackets. Legible hand-written adhesive paper labels on the larger unit include KITCHEN HINGE SCREWS, 3.5 x 3.2 DRY LINING SCREWS, 1 1/4 x 8 ROUND HD BRASS, 8 x 3, 8 x 1 1/2, 8 x 1 1/4, CATCHES BRACKETS, 6 x 1 1/4, 6 x 1 1/2, 4 x 3/4, 1/2 GUN NAILS, and 1/4 BRASS SCREWS SLOTTED. One drawer contains a yellow and orange cardboard insert printed with B&Q 38mm Brass Plated Qty 2. No other maker’s marks or printed labels are visible.
