This lot comprises two matching black plastic tabletop storage cabinets, each featuring a grid of thirty-two clear plastic drawers arranged in a four-by-eight configuration. The units contain a comprehensive assortment of workshop hardware, including various metal fasteners and components. The contents include yellow metal hinges, screw eyes, cup hooks, and pins, alongside white metal coach bolts in sizes M7x50, M6x60, M6x45, and M6x30. Also present are various panel pins (1 inch, 1 1/8 inch, and 1 1/4 inch), carpet tacks, split pins, and head nails. A quantity of small drill bits and white plastic screw caps are also included. Each drawer is identified by a white adhesive label featuring handwritten descriptions in black ink, such as SMALL DRILLS, BRASS CUPS 8-10, 55mm SCREW EYES, and COACH BOLTS. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the cabinet frames.
Condition report:
The units and their contents show signs of heavy workshop use, with a significant accumulation of surface dust and grit across the frames and within the drawers. The clear plastic drawers exhibit surface scuffing and minor discolouration consistent with age. One drawer in the left-hand unit and one drawer in the right-hand unit are shown in an open position, revealing a quantity of yellow metal hinges and white metal bolts respectively. The integrity of the plastic appears sound, though there is general wear to the adhesive labels.
