A four-way cross-rim lug wrench is also present, featuring a blue finish with a central hub painted orange. A chrome-plated hand brace is marked with the struck inscription STANLEY MADE IN ENGLAND. The lot further contains multiple open-ended and combination spanners, including a large example marked SUPERSLIM and another marked CROMARD BELGIUM. Other components include a ball-peen hammer head, assorted metal files, a flat metal component marked 300 X 25, and various loose sockets. The tools are predominantly constructed from metal and chrome-plated steel. The rectangular storage crate is constructed from timber and plywood. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items show significant signs of heavy workshop use, environmental exposure, and long-term storage. All metal surfaces exhibit a thick accumulation of dust, dirt, and grit. Surface oxidation and pitting are visible across most tools, particularly on the unplated spanners, hammer head, and files. The blue paint on the scissor jack and lug wrench shows chips and abrasions. The mechanical operation of the jack and the ratcheting mechanism of the hand brace have not been tested. The wooden crate shows staining, splintering to the edges, and significant dust accumulation.
