Lot 201: An Assortment of Workshop Clamps Including F-Clamps and G-Clamps

This lot comprises an assortment of workshop clamps designed for woodworking and metalworking applications. The group includes several F-clamps of varying capacities, featuring steel bars and sliding heads. Five of the smaller F-clamps are fitted with red and black ergonomic plastic grips. The black sliding heads on these units bear molded text: one displays DIN5117 and another reads AUSNIC. A pair of large-capacity silver-toned deep-throat G-clamps are present, featuring sliding T-handles and black plastic swivel pads. The lot also includes a heavy-duty black-painted metal C-clamp with a central screw and two side-adjusting screws, a pair of steel locking C-clamp pliers with swivel jaws, and a vintage-style red-painted metal edge clamp with parallel adjustment screws. The steel bars of the larger blue-headed F-clamps are stamped with dimensions, including 500X120 and 300X80. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items are in used workshop condition showing signs of significant environmental exposure and heavy use. Surface oxidation, rust pitting, and corrosion are visible across the steel bars and screw threads of the larger F-clamps and the red-painted edge clamp. The red-painted clamp shows extensive paint loss. The ergonomic handles on the smaller clamps exhibit wear, dirt ingress, and scuffing. Several swivel pads show heavy wear or are missing. The mechanical functionality of the screw threads has not been tested and they appear stiff due to the presence of surface corrosion.
