Control is provided by a black rotary switch positioned at the top with marked settings for 0, 1, and 2. A green drainage hose is fitted to the side of the black vertical chassis member. The front panel features a blue printed label titled ANDREWS BUILDING DRYER MODEL HD500 S3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. The label provides technical details for electrical supply connections, specifying 240V – 1.5mm² and 110V – 4.0mm² requirements. A large blue graphic at the base reads HD 500 S3. The power cable is terminated with a white plastic UK 3-pin 13-amp plug. A small white adhesive label from NORWICH INSTRUMENT SERVICES is present on the upper black chassis.

Condition report:

The unit shows signs of heavy industrial use and outdoor storage. There is significant surface corrosion and paint loss along the lower edges of the yellow casing (photo 1) and extensive rust to the black metal transport handle (photo 4). White overspray is visible on the upper left side of the front panel near the instructional label (photo 1). The yellow casing exhibits multiple scratches, scuffs, and small indentations throughout. The rubber tires show wear and accumulated dirt but appear intact. The internal evaporator coils visible through the top grille show some surface oxidation (photo 2). The unit is fitted with a standard domestic plug; the electrical and mechanical operational status has not been tested.
