A philatelic collection commemorating the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer on 29 July 1981. The lot includes a blue printed folder titled THE BRITISH POST OFFICE SOUVENIR COMMEMORATING THE OCCASION OF THE ROYAL WEDDING, containing a mint pair of UK 14p and 25p stamps featuring portraits of the couple. The primary component is a tan-coloured simulated leather binder with gold-leaf embossed lettering reading ROYAL WEDDING HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES AND LADY DIANA SPENCER. The album contains multiple mint never hinged sheets and partial sheets from various Commonwealth territories. These include Bermuda (30c, 50c, $1), British Virgin Islands (10c, 35c, $1.25), Cayman Islands (20c, 30c, $1), Falkland Islands Dependencies (10p, 13p, 52p), and Mauritius (25c, R 2.50, R 10). Designs incorporate floral motifs, royal portraits, and military attire. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the binder.

Condition report:

The stamps appear to be in mint never hinged (MNH) condition, housed within protective plastic sleeves within the album. The tan binder shows signs of surface wear, with light spotting and minor handling marks to the front cover. The internal pages and stamp sheets show no visible foxing or tearing. The blue souvenir folder remains intact with minor edge wear.
