The camera is constructed with a polycarbonate body and textured black grip, featuring an integrated Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 1:2.8-3.7 / 7.4-88.8 ASPH. lens with manual zoom and focus rings. The body is printed PANASONIC and DMC-FZ50, with the LUMIX name appearing on the pop-up flash and lens cap. The lens barrel features printed focal lengths ranging from 7.4 to 88.8 and their 35mm equivalents from 35 to 420. The outfit is presented in a black hard flight case with foam inserts and includes a Panasonic battery, a battery charger with a UK 3-pin plug, a lens hood, a neck strap, a 2GB SD memory card in a plastic case, an operating instructions manual, and a software CD-ROM marked VFF0334-B. The lot also includes a contemporary chest of drawers constructed from oak and oak veneers, featuring three drawers with six rectangular dark-toned handles. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the furniture.
Condition report:
The camera body shows signs of moderate use with dust accumulation in the crevices, mode dial, and textured grips. There is slight wear to the finish on the edges of the flash housing. The articulated LCD screen and lens elements appear intact, though external dust is present on the barrel. Functionality has not been tested. The flight case and manual show signs of handling. The oak chest of drawers shows surface marks and slight discoloration to the top, and the handles exhibit minor scuffing to the finish. The outfit is supplied with its original protective case and accessories as described.
