Lot 98: A Zippo Maid Of The Mist Metal Lighter In Plastic Display Box

A metal lighter of standard rectangular form with a hinged lid and a brushed finish. The obverse of the case features a printed graphic depicting a boat in front of a waterfall, executed in blue and black. Below the illustration is the printed legend NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO / CANADA. The lighter is held within a black plastic display case, which features the word ZIPPO in gold-toned lettering on the top surface. A silver adhesive label is applied to the front edge of the case, printed with 250 MAID OF THE MIST. The interior contains a metal windproof insert with a chimney, a circular flint wheel, and a wick containing copper strands. No legible date codes are visible on the base of the lighter or the insert.
