The central field contains a shield with a red cross on a white ground, charged with a gold-tone fleur-de-lis at the centre. The medal is housed in a square, green pebbled-effect presentation case with a green velvet-style fitted interior and a white satin-style lid lining. The exterior of the case lid is printed with a circular logo containing the text LINCOLNSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION LTD. surrounding a central shield. Inside the lid is a reflective metal presentation plate with the struck legend LINCOLNSHIRE FA COUNTY U18s CUP FINALISTS 2007/8. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the medal or the case.
Condition report:
The medal itself shows no visible chips to the enamel, with light surface wear and minor oxidation to the metal rim. The interior of the case displays yellowing and staining to the white satin lining, and the presentation plate shows minor surface scratches. The exterior of the case shows significant wear, with the green covering missing from the corners and edges, revealing the underlying metal structure and surface rust.
