Lot 53: A Wharfedale Subwoofer and Two Matching Satellite Speakers
A contemporary 2.1 channel audio speaker set featuring a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. The subwoofer is of rectangular form with a black wood-textured finish to the sides and top, and a high-gloss black front panel. The front panel features a central bass port, a digital display window, and four silver-toned rotary control knobs for VOLUME, TREBLE, BALANCE, and BASS. The name WHARFEDALE is printed in white script across the top of the front panel. A large black mesh speaker grille is set into the side of the subwoofer cabinet. The two satellite speakers are matched in a high-gloss black finish, each containing two exposed drivers including a tweeter and a woofer. The units are fitted with integrated wiring, including a UK three-pin power plug and audio connection cables. The lot is presented in a cardboard carton with original pre-formed polystyrene internal packaging.
Condition report:
The speakers show light surface wear and fine surface scratches to the high-gloss black plastic finish. Some dust accumulation is visible in the bass port and around the speaker surrounds. The mesh grille on the subwoofer appears intact. The electrical cord and UK plug are present, though the system is sold as untested for working order. The cardboard packaging shows typical signs of handling and storage wear.
