Lot 46: UK 2011 Boxing 50 Pence Coin in London 2012 Presentation Card
A UK 2011 commemorative coin, struck in a seven-sided equilateral-curve heptagon form. The reverse design features a stylized depiction of two boxers in a ring with vertical ropes, a logo, and the vertical inscription 50 PENCE. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The coin is housed in a printed card mount titled London 2012 sports collection and Boxing. The card is decorated with a green and pink geometric design, a line illustration of two boxers, and the official London 2012 logo. The card also contains printed information about the sport of boxing. The reverse of the coin bears a small logo consisting of four stylized geometric figures arranged in a square, known as the London 2012 Olympic logo.
