Buyer's Premium:

A UK 2011 50-pence piece from the London 2012 Olympic Sports Collection, presented in its original printed card packaging. The coin is a heptagonal cupro-nickel issue. The reverse design features a canoeist navigating a slalom course through gates, with a stylised logo for the London 2012 Olympic Games at the top. The legend 50 PENCE is struck to the right field. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin is housed in a colourful card folder with a purple and teal geometric design. The packaging is printed with the text LONDON 2012 SPORTS COLLECTION and CANOEING in stylised pink lettering. A printed logo for the London 2012 Olympics, featuring the Olympic rings, appears at the top right of the card.


Condition report:

The coin appears to be in brilliant uncirculated condition, showing original mint lustre and no visible signs of circulation wear. The reverse field and raised details are crisp. The obverse is not visible through the packaging. The card folder shows no significant creasing or edge wear and remains in good condition.
