Lot 269: SI Bullion 500g 999 Fine Copper Bar
A rectangular copper bullion bar of 500g weight, featuring a vertically brushed or striated surface finish. The obverse is stamped with a central logo composed of a shield containing the characters SI, flanked by laurel wreaths and set above a ribbon banner reading BULLION. Beneath this is a stylised floral device. The lower half of the face bears the stamped inscriptions 500g followed by 999 and FINE COPPER. The reverse is plain and the bar is contained within a tight-fitting clear plastic protective wrap. No serial numbers or additional assay marks are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The bar shows signs of environmental exposure and handling. The obverse displays several fine surface scratches and linear striations consistent with the manufacturing process. A noticeable purple-hued iridescent tarnish or toning is present across the lower third of the face. The reverse is not fully visible due to the packaging but appears consistent with the obverse. The bar remains enclosed in its original clear plastic protective wrap, which shows some light scuffing.
