Lot 267: Three Valcambi Suisse 999.0 Fine Silver 1g CombiBar Units
A lot of three individual bullion units separated from a larger CombiBar sheet, each of rectangular form. The face of each bar is struck with the maker’s name VALCAMBI SUISSE in lowercase and serif lettering. Centred below is the weight 1 G and the material description FINE SILVER 999,0. The base of each unit features a rectangular assay mark containing a circular cartouche with the letters CHI next to the two-line inscription ESSAYEUR FONDEUR. The reverse is plain with a textured, matte finish. Each piece shows evidence of vertical separation from a larger divisible unit.

Condition report:
The bars exhibit significant and heavy dark surface toning and oxidation across the obverse faces, particularly concentrated in the recessed lettering and surrounding areas. The reverse surfaces show minor surface contact marks. The edges are irregular, consistent with mechanical separation from a larger CombiBar sheet. The items are not supplied with original packaging or assay certificates.
