Each cup bears a struck oval hallmark containing the number 84 and a right-facing profile head (kokoshnik), alongside a rectangular maker’s mark containing the Cyrillic characters ПЛ. The underside of the bases feature further struck marks including a circular device containing a stylised flower and a rectangular mark reading БТ.
Weight: 87.05g pair
Condition report:
The cups exhibit signs of age and use throughout. Fine surface scratches and minor pitting are visible across the silver bodies (photo 1). Areas of dark tarnishing and a natural patina are present, particularly within the recessed areas of the engraving and around the bases (photo 4). A small dark circular indentation, possibly a point of repair or a deep pit, is located on the underside of one base near the hallmarks (photo 2). The hand-formed rims show slight irregularities in circumference (photo 1).
