Lot 15: A Metal Ewer with Hand-Hammered Finish and Pedestal Foot
A decorative pitcher or ewer featuring a multi-part metal construction. The vessel is designed with a bulbous central section which exhibits a regular hand-hammered martelé finish. The upper neck flares towards a shaped spout and is joined to the body by a narrow metal collar. The item is fitted with a high-arching, slender handle and stands upon a flared pedestal foot. The exterior surfaces show a contrast between polished copper-toned and brass-toned components. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.

Condition report:
The ewer appears in good condition with a bright, polished finish. Minor surface oxidisation and light tarnish are visible, particularly around the collar and base joins. The hand-hammered texture is consistent and free from irregular dents or impact damage. All joints appear secure and the handle is correctly aligned.
