Lot 119: A Molded Glass Floral Centerpiece Bowl
A clear glass centerpiece bowl, designed in a stylized six-petal floral form. The vessel features six overlapping petals, each textured with heavy concentric rippled lines radiating from the centre towards the rim, mimicking the appearance of a scallop shell. The central well of the bowl is decorated with an embossed pattern of raised circular glass beads or pips. The bowl is constructed from transparent glass with a visible thickness at the base and petal junctions. The exterior surface is smooth, while the interior surface holds the molded texture. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Width: 26.5 cm.
Condition report:
The bowl is in good overall condition. There are several fine surface scratches and scuff marks visible on the interior surface, most notably on the upper-left petal. The rim and textured edges show no large chips or losses, though minor abrasions consistent with use are present.
