Lot 115: A 9ct White Gold Solitaire Diamond Pendant Necklace
A contemporary 9ct white gold pendant necklace featuring a single round brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is secured in a partial bezel tension style setting within a curved, horseshoe shaped pendant mount. The pendant is suspended from a curb link chain by a tapered bail. The necklace is secured with a bolt ring clasp. A hallmark tag is located adjacent to the clasp and contains four struck rectangular punches. These include a maker’s mark consisting of two characters, a ‘375’ fineness mark, a scales common control mark, and the lowercase date letter ‘b’. Natural yellow tones are visible on the clasp and connecting links where the surface finish has worn.

Condition report:
The necklace shows surface scratches and wear to the metal consistent with regular use. There is noticeable yellowing of the metal on the bolt ring clasp and the adjacent jump rings (photo 3) where the rhodium plating has worn away. The diamond remains securely set, though the setting and gemstone show an accumulation of surface grime (photo 3). The clasp mechanism is in functional condition.
