Lot 42: A Spherical Paperweight with Internal Stylised Floral Decoration
A spherical paperweight, containing internal lampwork decoration of a stylised flower. The bloom features four broad white petals with feathery internal detail, centred by a single controlled air bubble. The base of the flower is accented by pink and purple fronds, all positioned over a dark green opaque ground. The decorative elements are encased within a clear spherical body. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The paperweight shows minor surface dust and light reflections to the exterior (photo 1). No significant chips, cracks, or surface abrasions are visible.
