Lot 313: A Bosch PST 850 PE Electric Orbital Jigsaw with Carrying Case
A Bosch PST 850 PE electric orbital jigsaw, featuring a green and black composite housing and a metal base plate. The tool is designed for corded operation and is fitted with a power cable terminating in a UK three-pin plug. The housing includes a red trigger switch, a black locking button, and a side-mounted red orbital action control dial. The exterior of the tool bears a printed label reading BOSCH PST 850 PE in red and white characters. The composite body is embossed with the material code >PA6-GF35<. The set includes a matching green composite carrying case with a large red logo printed on the lid reading BOSCH. One metal saw blade is currently installed in the tool assembly. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The jigsaw and its carrying case show signs of significant use and environmental exposure during storage. There is a heavy accumulation of sawdust and wood debris throughout the interior of the case and on the tool itself, particularly around the blade mounting assembly and motor ventilation ports (photo 2 and 3). The composite housing of the tool and the exterior of the carrying case exhibit surface scuffing and minor abrasions (photo 1 and 2). The power cable and plug appear intact. The functional status of the motor and orbital action has not been tested.
