Lot 305: A Mitsubishi TL20 Petrol-Powered Single-Sided Hedge Trimmer
A petrol-powered hedge trimmer featuring a single-sided metal cutting blade and a red plastic engine housing. The unit is equipped with a translucent plastic fuel tank and a black wrap-around front handle. The rear handle contains a red sliding switch marked STOP. The recoil starter assembly is printed with a central logo and the text MITSUBISHI above the number 20, and the pull-cord handle is embossed with the word START. A small metal plate below the starter reads MODEL TL20 and S/NO 39. The safety guard is marked with the CE symbol and three safety icons. The red plastic housing has the number 052 handwritten in black ink, and the fuel tank is marked with a handwritten character 4. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The hedge trimmer shows signs of extensive outdoor use and environmental exposure. The metal cutting blade is coated in organic residue and surface oxidation (photo 1). Significant surface grime and grease are present across the engine housing, fuel tank, and handles (photo 1). The fuel primer bulb on the carburetor is perished and exhibits visible cracking (photo 2). The translucent fuel tank is discoloured and yellowed from age (photo 1). The mechanical operation of the motor is untested. No protective blade cover is included.
