Lot 123: A Pair of Framed Sets of Photographic Prints, War Photojournalism
This lot comprises a pair of matching multi-aperture framed sets of photographic prints depicting scenes of conflict and war photojournalism. The top set contains three chromogenic colour prints featuring a silhouette of a soldier loading ammunition, a tank positioned against a sunset, and a mounted machine gun overlooking an urban landscape. The bottom set contains three monochrome prints showing men behind a barbed wire fence, two women in mourning by a stone wall, and a man with arms raised in a barren landscape. Each set is housed within a triple-aperture cream mount and finished in a dark wood-effect frame. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the front of the items.

Condition report:
Both framed sets are in good overall condition. The prints show no visible evidence of fading, silver mirroring, or surface damage. The mounts and glazing are clear. Minor dust is present on the frames.
