This lot comprises a 15-piece porcelain coffee service manufactured in Bavaria. The service features a streamlined Mid-Century Modern design with each component finished in a high-shine gold luster exterior and a bright white glazed interior. The service includes a tapered coffee pot with a fitted lid and loop finial, an open milk jug with a high-swept handle, a lidded sugar bowl, six coffee cups with flared rims, and six matching saucers. The underside of the pieces bears a printed backstamp in dark ink consisting of a crown symbol above the word BAVARIA. Below this is JOHANN SELTMANN in cursive script, followed by VOHENSTRAUẞ in cursive script. Underneath is the word FOREIGN in cursive script and the number 22.
