Lot 90: Cook Islands 2021 Bounty .9999 Silver 2 Dollars Coin Bar
A 2021 silver bullion coin bar, of rectangular form with a recurring textured geometric background. The bar is struck in .9999 fine silver for the Cook Islands by the private mint B.H. Mayer’s Kunstprägeanstalt. The upper portion contains a polished rectangular panel inscribed 50g COIN, FINE SILVER, and .9999. A circular inset in the centre shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, circumscribed by the text ELIZABETH II, 2 DOLLARS, COOK ISLANDS, and 2021. Below this inset is a relief depiction of a three-masted sailing ship. The base of the bar features a black-infilled rectangular panel containing a profile head logo and the inscription B.H. MAYER’S KUNSTPRÄGEANSTALT.

Condition report:
The coin bar shows signs of handling and environmental exposure. Light surface scratches are visible on the polished upper panel and the central circular inset. Minor toning and oxidation are present along the rim and within the recessed textured areas of the field. No original packaging or assay card is present.
