Lot 68: UK 2005 Prince of Wales Wedding Celebration Medal
A 2005 commemorative medal, of circular form, presented in a clear protective plastic capsule. The medal displays the Prince of Wales heraldic badge featuring three ostrich feathers passing through a coronet, with a scroll below inscribed I C H D I E N. Struck below the badge is the date 9TH APRIL 2005. The medal is housed within a blue fabric-covered flip-top presentation case featuring a white interior lining and an internal support ribbon. An included descriptive card is printed with the text: A CELEBRATION MEDAL TO COMMEMORATE THE MARRIAGE OF HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES AND MRS CAMILLA PARKER BOWLES. No hallmark, fineness mark, or maker mark is visible on the medal or its presentation materials.
