Lot 150: Isle Of Man One Pound Coin, Pobjoy Mint presentation case

An Isle of Man one pound coin presented in a blue velvet-lined case. The reverse of the coin is struck with a central triskelion featuring three armoured legs superimposed over a map of the island. Four fleur-de-lis motifs occupy the fields. The legend around the rim reads ISLE OF MAN ONE POUND. The obverse is not visible. The interior of the case features an inset gold-coloured plaque printed with the text POBJOY MINT LTD SUTTON SURREY ENGLAND alongside a logo depicting a stylised castle turret. No metal fineness marks or hallmarks are visible on the coin or the presentation plaque.
