Lot 111: Republic of Armenia 2016 Noah's Ark 999 Silver 100 Dram Coin

A 2016 Republic of Armenia 100 Dram silver coin, of circular form, struck in 999 fine silver. The obverse features the Armenian Coat of Arms at the centre, depicting a shield supported by an eagle and a lion. The upper rim is inscribed with the state name in Armenian ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ, and the lower rim is inscribed REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA. The denomination 100 ԴՐԱՄ · DRAM is positioned below the crest above the date 2016. A diamond-shaped mark containing the letters LEV is struck to the left of the denomination, and the weight and purity mark 1/4 OZ AG 999 is situated to the right. The reverse depicts a dove in flight carrying an olive branch, with Noah’s Ark, Mount Ararat, and a rising sun in the background. It is inscribed with the series name in Armenian ՆՈՅՅԱՆ ՏԱՊԱՆ and English NOAH’S ARK. The coin has a reeded edge. No maker’s labels or price stickers are visible on the item.
