Lot 101: PURE .999 Fine Silver Bullion Bar, R2-D2 Engraving
A silver bullion bar, rectangular in form. The obverse features a struck maker’s logo consisting of the letters P, U, R, and E arranged in a square grid, positioned above the struck inscriptions 999, FINE, and SILVER. The reverse is decorated with an engraved representation of the Star Wars character R2-D2. The bar is contained within a white cardboard coin flip featuring a circular transparent plastic window. The cardboard mount features an embossed logo consisting of a crown within a diamond-shaped border on the lower tab. No serial number or weight is struck on the bar, and no maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the holder.
Condition report:
The bar shows signs of handling and light environmental exposure. The obverse displays fine surface scratches across the polished fields and light toning towards the edges (photo 1). The reverse shows minor contact marks to the engraving (photo 2). The cardboard holder has slight wear and scuffing to the edges (photo 2). The item is supplied in the described protective mount.
