Buyer's Premium:

A collection of six unused commemorative postage stamps issued in the UK between 1968 and 1970. The group includes two horizontal stamps from the 1968 British Bridges series, one from the 1969 British Anniversaries series, and a set of three from the 1970 Philympia Stamp Exhibition. The designs feature monochrome and multicolour photogravure printing on paper. Each stamp bears the silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II in the upper corner. The Philympia series reproduces Victorian postal designs, specifically the 1840 first engraved issue, the 1847 first embossed issue, and the 1855 first surface printed issue. Denominations include 5d, 9d, 1s 6d, 1/6, and 1/9. Printed inscriptions in capitals include HARRISON, ROSOMAN, RESTALL, SHARLAND, PONT MENAI, MENAI BRIDGE 1826, ABERFELDY BRIDGE 1733, TELEVISION, and PHILYMPIA 1970. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the reverse of the items.

Condition report:

The stamps show no signs of environmental exposure or postal handling. Each stamp is in unused condition without postmarks or cancellations. The perforations are intact across all examples, and the centring is well-proportioned. No visible thins, creases, or tears are present. No protective mounts or capsules are supplied.
