This lot comprises three graduated bell-shaped decanters containing Bell’s Scotch Whisky. Each vessel is constructed from two-tone glazed ceramic in shades of cream and brown, featuring a decorative band encircling the base. The largest decanter carries a printed label reading BELL’S BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY SPECIALLY SELECTED DISTILLED BLENDED & BOTTLED IN SCOTLAND ARTHUR BELL & SONS PLC DISTILLERS PERTH SCOTLAND 75CL 40%VOL ESTABLISHED 1825. The medium-sized decanter features a label for BELL’S OLD SCOTCH WHISKY SPECIALLY SELECTED. The smallest decanter is a miniature with a label for BELL’S BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY 50 ML. The base of the pieces is printed in black with WADE BELL’S SCOTCH WHISKY PERTH SCOTLAND. Each decanter is topped with a ceramic stopper in the form of a bell handle, secured with original plastic or foil seals. No bottling dates are visible on the labels.
Condition report:
The decanters appear in good condition with original seals intact. Minor rubbing and loss are visible to the decorative finish at the base of the larger and medium decanters (photo 1). The printed labels show signs of light age-related wear and slight scuffing to the edges (photo 1). No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible to the ceramic bodies. The contents appear present and the seals remain unopened.
