A character figurine, depicting a standing male figure in a jaunty pose with one hand resting on his hip and a large sack carried over the right shoulder. The figure is dressed in period attire, including a top hat, a long jacket with visible button detailing, and trousers gathered and tied at the knees. He is modelled looking upwards and to the side, wearing a thick cravat at the neck. The piece is of cast white metal construction with a polished finish, standing upon an integral, textured, and irregular base. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The figurine shows general surface wear and significant loss to the surface finish. The underlying metal substrate is visible on the brim of the hat, the jacket front, the knees, and the sack (photo 1, 2, 3). Minor surface pitting and manufacturing imperfections typical of the casting process are present throughout the figure (photo 3). No structural damage or missing components are observed. No protective case or original packaging is provided.
