The work depicts five stylised red poppies with elongated black stems, set against a neutral off-white background featuring an intentional crackle-glaze texture. The piece is housed in a modern black box frame. The upper right corner bears an inscription in black, comprising a cursive monogram ‘Iz’ positioned above the digits ’06’. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The work shows signs of light handling and storage. Minor scuffs and small finish losses are visible along the edges and corners of the black frame. The surface of the painting exhibits intentional crackle textures as part of the decorative design. Several surface reflections are present from external lighting sources.
