Lot 361: Three Radley London and Poppy Pattern Handbags
This lot comprises three ladies’ handbags of varying designs. The first is a satchel featuring a woven exterior with a repeating pattern of red poppies on a cream ground, fitted with twin brown top handles and rectangular metal hardware. The second is a black tote bag with a pebbled exterior finish and white contrast stitching, bearing the centrally embossed inscription RADLEY LONDON on the front. The third is a teal tote bag with flared side panels and long shoulder straps, featuring a hanging charm in the shape of a Scottie dog embossed with the text RADLEY, and a centrally embossed RADLEY LONDON inscription on the upper front edge. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible.
Condition report:
The black tote bag shows surface creasing to the front and rear panels consistent with handling. The teal tote bag exhibits pronounced creasing to the body and straps, together with visible scuffing to the base corners and edges. The floral patterned satchel shows minor surface wear to the woven exterior but remains in generally good order. No original dust bags or packaging are present.
