Lot 339: Wessex Mint Archangel Michael .999 Fine Silver 1 Gram Bar
A rectangular silver bullion bar produced by the Wessex Mint. The obverse face is struck with a depiction of the Archangel Michael, represented with outspread wings and a halo, holding a sword and a shield bearing a cross. The legend ARCHANGEL MICHAEL is inscribed vertically to the left of the central figure. The lower portion of the bar features a circular device containing the characters PM above a Celtic triskele symbol, followed by the struck inscriptions WESSEX MINT, 1 GRAM, and 999 FINE SILVER. No serial number is visible on the bar.

Condition report:
The bar shows signs of environmental exposure and handling. Significant dark toning and tarnish are visible across the obverse surface, affecting both the recessed fields and the raised relief elements. Fine surface scratches and small contact marks are present, particularly visible along the edges and the high points of the design. The bar is not provided with a protective capsule or original packaging.
