This lot comprises a collection of opaque white milk glass tableware featuring the June Rose pattern. The service includes dinner plates, side plates, saucers, teacups, cereal bowls, a cream jug, an open sugar bowl, and a gravy boat with a matching underplate. Each piece is decorated with polychrome transfer-printed motifs of red rosebuds and open blooms, complemented by green leaves and grey stems. The items are of heat-resistant glass construction. The base of the pieces features an embossed mark consisting of a stylised furnace logo above the word PYREX arranged in an arc. Below this, a larger arc of embossed text reads MADE IN ENGLAND. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The collection shows minimal signs of use and appears to be in very good vintage condition. The glossy finish of the opaque white glass is well-maintained across all pieces. The transfer-printed rose motifs are vibrant and remain largely intact with no significant losses or fading visible. No chips, cracks, or structural defects are observed. No original packaging or boxes are included.
