A novelty collectible banknote, designed to resemble a contemporary United States One Hundred Dollar Federal Reserve Note. The item is constructed from a flexible material with a textured, metallic gold-coloured finish. The obverse features a central photographic image of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay wearing a red and white Santa hat, positioned above the legend MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU DONKEY! in red and gold-coloured script. The note is printed with numerous textual elements including FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE, GOLD 999999, GORDON RAMSAY, and THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The printed signatures of TIMOTHY F. GEITHNER and ROSA GUMATAOTAO RIOS are present. The reverse depicts Ramsay in professional chef’s whites, accompanied by a HELL’S KITCHEN logo featuring a pitchfork and the legends ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS and 24K GOLD. Both sides exhibit a fine, linear embossed texture throughout. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The banknote appears to be in near-mint condition, showing no signs of creasing, edge wear, or surface loss (photo 1). The textured metallic finish is uniform throughout (photos 2 and 4). No protective capsule or original packaging is present.
