This lot comprises an assortment of contemporary greeting cards, featuring layered construction with 3D decoupage elements and various applied embellishments. The collection includes cards for several occasions, with designs including mid-century fashion illustrations of women in evening wear, festive snowmen, figures in Beefeater uniforms with musical notation, and floral motifs. Legible printed text on the cards includes CONGRATULATIONS WEDDING DAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MERRY CHRISTMAS UNCLE, SADNESS, and THINKING OF YOU. One card is decorated with a stylised character with long dark hair and a red dress. A circular adhesive label on one Christmas card reads FOR A SPECIAL SOMEONE. Several cards bear small white adhesive price stickers reading £2.00, £1, and 60P. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The cards appear to be in new and unused condition, showing no visible foxing, staining, or corner wear (photo 1). Each card is individually housed in a clear protective cellophane sleeve. The sleeves show minor light handling marks and surface reflections from the camera flash (photos 2 and 3).
