A 1985 United Kingdom one pound coin, housed in a commemorative presentation case consisting of a clear plastic outer shell and a red flocked interior insert. The reverse of the coin is decorated with a leek within a diadem and the struck legend ONE POUND. The interior of the case is printed with a gold-toned Welsh dragon motif alongside the printed legends WELSH ONE POUND COIN, 1985, and NEW EFFIGY. The coin features a milled edge. The obverse of the coin is concealed by the red mounting insert. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The coin appears to be in uncirculated condition with strong luster. The reverse shows no visible contact marks, toning, or surface wear. The obverse is concealed by the packaging and cannot be assessed. The plastic presentation case shows minor surface scratches to the exterior.
