A lead crystal bud vase, of tapered ovoid form featuring elaborate cut decoration. The lower section is designed with a dense cross-hatched diamond pattern that transitions into elongated vertical mitre cuts terminating in sharp points towards the shoulder. The rim is finished with wide polished facets. A metallic adhesive foil label is attached near the rim, featuring two heraldic crown symbols. The vase is accompanied by a printed promotional leaflet which transcribes as ROMANCE A RANGE OF BOHEMIA CRYSTAL BY HENRY MARCHANT LIMITED and includes a circular logo containing the words BOHEMIA CRYSTAL surrounding a stylised B with a crown. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item. The item is contained within a dark blue textured presentation box with a padded blue satin-lined interior.
Condition report:
The vase shows no visible chips, cracks, or nicks to the cut edges or the rim. The crystal retains high clarity with no evidence of surface clouding or internal flaws. The presentation box exhibits minor shelf wear to the corners and edges. Supplied with original box and promotional leaflet.
